'Hell Ride' & 'Orphan' stand out amongst the dross.
Weird. Does that make them a better class of dross because they DO stand out? :wink:

It must be an early onset of Alzheimers or something but I can't remember half the films I've rented! :o

So I look at the list and see I've watched 'Monsieur Heulots Holiday',
then the suppressed memories start creeping back and I remember in horror that particular hour and a half of my life wasted in front of the TV and the bitter realisation, more than halfway through, that it really wasn't going to get funny. And it was kinda sad the dogged way I insisted to Lizzie that she should try to stay awake- was I glad she fell asleep! Cos when she woke up I was able to lie and tell her that, eventually, I nearly died laughing.

I don't think she believed me but then again after the brain numbing tedium of prat-falls and bumbling innocence, strained silence and prop based gags that make this a CLASSIC of French cinema I don't think she cared.

Anyways got me thinking about the good films I've rented and wondered what others would recommend? And just to let you know mine and there's no doubt about it, 'District 9'. Class.
